Traffic Marshall/Gateman Roles and Responsibilities
- Directing and managing the movement of vehicles and machinery on the construction site.
- Ensuring the safe movement of plant and vehicles around the site.
- Coordinating deliveries and logging all vehicles entering and leaving the site.
- Checking and validating permits and licenses of vehicles and operators.
- Implementing and maintaining health and safety regulations and site rules.
- Reporting any health and safety concerns to site management.
- Maintaining clear communication with site personnel and drivers.
Traffic Marshall/Gateman Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role within a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Availability for full-time work.
Note: CPCS or NPORS certification is not required for this role.
