MK Personnel Solutions Ltd is currently looking for a dedicated Planning and Procurement Manager to join our team for our Client based in Great Horwood. As a Planning and Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the planning processes to ensure efficient supply chain operations for our clients.

Key responsibilities

- Work with work with Team Leaders and Demand Planning Managers to forecast levels of demand for products

- Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of quality and service, and run tenders to select the appropriate supplier, as well as build relationships with our existing key suppliers.

- Track raw material prices to ensure we are paying competitive rates, analysing the date to produce reports and make recommendations that drive cost efficiency.

- Monitor the quality of service and build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.

- Be the liaison point between Operations, Factory production team and Supply chain, ensuring everyone collaborates and well and is aligned on key decisions.

- Develop production schedules and plans through analysing our sales forecast and predicting demand for the factory production plan.

- Monitor production processes, recommending ways to improve efficiency, determine new equipment requirements.

- Support our team leaders to organise operational staff into shifts

- Monitoring material supplies and purchasing against the plan/schedule to make sure we always have the correct raw materials in stock.

- Prepare performance reports regarding performance, OTIF delivery and attainment of production plans.
