About the Job

Four Squared Recruitment is representing a leading business in their search for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their busy Finance Department.

As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, expenses (including credit card payments), and ensuring accurate posting within the Practice Management System. Your role will also involve supporting colleagues with payment queries, promptly responding to email inquiries, setting up new suppliers, checking cash receipt allocations, reconciling bank accounts, and handling supplier statement reconciliations and queries.

We are seeking someone with previous experience in a similar role, ideally with knowledge of multiple currencies and experience working in a team environment with a shared inbox.

Accuracy, speed, and the ability to prioritize and meet strict reporting deadlines are crucial for this role. A good level of numeracy and proficiency in Excel is essential. Experience with expense management and finance systems such as Aderant and Chrome River would be beneficial.

This role requires regular office attendance, typically three times per week, so candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham.
