TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Specialist School for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs in the Plymouth area. This school prides itself on using a trauma informed approach & they receive glowing feedback most commenting on the kindness and inclusivity shown by staff.

This school is looking for a resilient Learning Mentor with Driving Responsibilities on a full time basis, for a long term booking to start in September. The successful applicant should have experience working within specialist schools, including challenging behaviour and with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The role will include providing Learning Outside of The Classroom with students who struggle with mainstream models of education, mostly on a 1:1 basis.

The successful Learning Mentor will have:

• Level 3 in a relevant subject or proven experience
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis
• A Full Driving License & their own Vehicle
