Sheet Metal Worker

Major Recruitment are searching for a Sheet Metal Worker for our client based in Washington. This vacancy is full-time and permanent for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Working from engineering drawings to fabricate jobs
- Producing bespoke products from various metals
- Working to tight tolerances
- MIG and TIG welding
Hours of work and pay rate:
- Monday to Thursday, 7am till 4pm
- Friday 7am till 1pm
- £14.93 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
- First 7 hours OT worked Monday to Saturday x1.5, double time after 7 hours/ Sunday
- Overtime available as and when business needs require
Successful candidates must:
- Have experience in MIG and TIG welding processes
- Be able to read from engineering and design drawings
- Have worked with mild/ stainless steel and aluminium
- Be able to self-check own work
- Have experience using fabrication equipment
Successful candidates must also have a full UK driving license as regular work on site is expected.
