My client is one of the biggest construction companies in the UK. They are currently in need of an IT Project Manager to join their team based in Oldbury.

ROLE: The IT Department provides information technology systems and support to all divisions within the company. My client is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Project Manager to join and strengthen our existing team within the IT Department. This is a permanent fulltime role assisting with the delivery of IT systems in construction design and manufacturing systems, in line with the Company’s strategy of working on projects from concept through to completion and maintenance.

DUTIES:

» Successfully meet agreed targets » Manage the design, development, and support of systems to business requirements, specification standards and quality » Manage the internal department team and external partners/suppliers » Produce documentation to the required standards and quality » Support the use of ISO27002 in system development and installation.

SKILLS:

• The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3-4 years in the manufacturing industry »
• Have a proven track record of managing projects and supporting IT systems implementations
• Have excellent experience and working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Exel and SAP), manufacturing systems, Business intelligence systems, and SQL Database knowledge
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, AI and Cloud services
• Have a professional project management qualification (Agile, PMP or Prince2)
• Demonstrate project management of systems and change management successes, identifying risk, issues and dependencies and implement processes to minimise project disruptions
• Be well organised, self-motivated, professional, and able to work under pressure
• Be responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as managing a team including developing plans, schedules and resource allocations
• Be able to communicate, influence and engage software and technical engineers and users at all levels including Executive management team
• Must be eligible and able to prove that you can work in the UK, as the Company does not hold a sponsorship licence.

LOCATION: OLDBURY, WEST MIDLANDS

HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm with half hour lunch break each day and 8.30am to 1.30pm with no lunch break on Friday of each week – 37 hours in total, paid monthly
