Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of your students.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

• Adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a productive learning atmosphere.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop and implement educational materials and resources.

• Support students with their assignments, activities, and assessments to help them achieve their full potential.

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and development.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or training in education, such as a degree in Primary Education or a related field.

• Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.

• Experience working with students who have SEND is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students’ learning and development.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to different classroom situations.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

• Having a valid DBS which is in the update service.

• Having PGCE or QTS
