We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team based at the iconic Fort Dunlop in Birmingham!

Reporting to the Group Quality Director the Quality Manager is key to the ability of G&P to deliver and exceed our customers' expectations whilst ensuring compliance to company, industry and legal requirements.

This is a full time opportunity based predominantly at our Head Office at the Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. However, there is also the option of flexible hybrid working, so candidates not local to Birmingham can also be considered.

With customer sites across the UK, there will be an element of travel involved and very occasional overseas travel as and when needed.


The Quality Manager is responsible for but not limited to:

Leading and guiding on the overall development, implementation and management of requirements within our Quality Management System.
Maintaining our Quality Management System procedure and process audit programmes.
Working with the wider group to enhance best practise of quality standards
Ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and other professional accreditations.
Providing regular reports, to include analysis and recommendations across customer satisfaction, process audits, internal audits, complaints, training plans, health & safety and more.
Supporting continuous improvement activities through workshops and training.


The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor or a Quality Manager, ideally within Automotive or Aerospace and with the following experience:

Effective problem solving skills with knowledge of 8D problem solving
Strong working knowledge of Quality Tools
ISO14001/9001 knowledge and experience - Standards/Auditing
Excellent communication skills - Customer/Supplier/Internal
Risk assessment, Risk management and COSHH knowledge
Reporting and analytics experience


The following experience is desirable but not essential:

ISO/VDA accredited auditor.
IOSH trained.
Engineering qualification.
Tisax


This is a permanent position with progression opportunities available. Whilst you will be required at our head office from time-to-time, there is the option of flexible and home-working available as a hybrid option.
