PERMANENT POSITION- BASED SOUTHEND-ON-SEA, ESSEX
ROLE & CANDIDATE
The role will carry out preventative, reactive and improvement maintenance. It will involve Electrical, mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic fault resolution and mechanical component repairs. The person will assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems such as BRCGS and ensure the company complies with all areas of the Health and Safety at Work Legislation. Experienced in both Electrical and Maintenance Engineering, you will have a track record in manufacturing ideally within the food or packaging sectors. They have machinery such as slitting machines, labellers, conveyors, printing machinery, reels and more. The business is investing further in their engineering department with c £1m of CAPEX expected in 2024. This role sits as part of an Engineering team of 4, reporting into the Engineering Manager, with the view of the team expanding in 2024.
HOURS: Mon – Fri 8hrs (8am- 4pm), or Mon – Thurs condensed 10 hr shift
SALARY: Up to £45,000 + OT with earning potential of £50K
Contributory pension Scheme = 5% employee and 3% employer
21 days holiday + 6.5 days for Bank Holidays ( based on 4 day week)
Sickness Insurance Scheme giving sick pay if an absence lasts longer than 2 weeks
