Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Analytical Chemist or Field Service Engineer looking to reduce travel, to join an expanding and successful scientific instrument manufacturer.

Based at the company’s office nr. Derby, you will be responsible for providing instrument technical support to customers, distributors and internal stakeholders, as well as to the broader field service team. This will include providing technical support by telephone/email, such remote instrument troubleshooting as well as arranging service engineer call outs if required and issuing correct spare parts to fix instrument faults.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive working knowledge of HPLC/GC (LC-MS/GC-MS experience is highly desirable)
• Direct experience troubleshooting and maintaining chromatographic systems
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
