Our lovely school, nestled in a quiet area of Islington, is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. About the role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our young learners during this important stage of their educational journey. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support students with their learning, and help create an inclusive environment where all children can thrive. Your role will also involve leading booster sessions and interventions, tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of children who may need extra support.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with Key Stage 1 students is preferred.

• A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• An understanding of SEN and experience with booster and intervention sessions is a plus.

• Relevant qualifications are desirable, but we welcome applications from those with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

• Providing targeted support to students through booster sessions and interventions.

• Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning materials.

• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
