Our client is looking for a Buyer to join their fast-growing team! As part of the Engineering Technical Support, you'll help refine our supply chain processes, manage purchases, and strengthen relationships with our supply chain partners.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll ensure all purchases are made and recorded diligently, support the team, and collaborate with Project Engineers to develop launch vehicles efficiently and sustainably. Plus, you'll play a key role in fostering strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks of the Buyer

• Ensure a steady supply by managing suppliers effectively
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to enhance quality, delivery times, and cost efficiency
• Maintain and upgrade the Supply Chain System for better traceability and compliance
• Resolve purchase order discrepancies and invoice issues
• Expedite orders as needed
• Work with accounts to process all purchases smoothly
• Prepare performance reports and metrics for the Supply Chain Manager

Preferred Experience & Skills for the Buyer

• Two higher education qualifications or HNC/HND equivalent
• Supply Chain experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to set goals and prioritize tasks with multiple deadlines
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanour
• Motivated and eager to learn and grow
• ERP experience is a bonus
