Key Responsibilities:
- File Review Management: Conduct and manage the firm’s internal file review process, ensuring compliance with legal standards and firm policies.
- Quality Assurance: Identify and rectify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or non-compliance issues within client files, maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance to continuously improve the file review process.
- Project Work: Engage in project-based work across different departments within the firm, providing valuable insights.
- Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing new processes and guidelines for file management to enhance efficiency and satisfaction across the firm.
- Training and Support: Offer guidance and support to other staff members on best practices in file management and compliance, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
- Experience: Prior experience in file review within a law firm is highly desirable. Candidates with a strong understanding of legal file management processes will also be considered.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in legal documentation.
- Legal Knowledge: A solid grasp of legal terminology, procedures, and file management practices within a law firm environment.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively within a team.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and offering practical solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
