About the role:
Astute's Renewables team is partnered with an electric vehicle (EV) charge point installer and independent connection provider (ICP) who have a large order book and diverse client base across the UK. We're looking to recruit a HSEQ Advisor within the Slough and North London area.

The HSEQ advisor role comes with a salary of up to £50,000 and company car, private health care and hybrid working.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will:

• Implement and monitor health and safety policies, ensuing that best practise is adhered to on site.
• Conduct risk assessments for EV charging construction sites.
• Complete safety training sessions, specifically looking at PPE, electrical safety hazard identification and emergency procedures.
• Perform audits and inspections of sites to ensure complete compliance.
• Accident investigation, incidents and near misses, as well as completing the necessary paperwork.
• Provide new emergency response plans and build on existing procedures.
• Coordinator emergency drills and tests.

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Qualification in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Heath and Safety or Engineering
• NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety
• EV charging experience (desirable)

Personal skills:
The Health and Safety Manager role would suit someone who is/has:

• Strong communication skills
• Organised and able to work to changing priorities
• Valid UK driving license
