£280 - £300/day

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects within the commercial and educational sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical contracting, with at least 3 years of experience managing projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple electrical contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and reports, and monitor progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Lead a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Handle any contractual disputes or issues that arise during the course of the project.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical contracts management, specifically within commercial and educational sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and maintenance practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • A relevant electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2360/2330/2357) is preferred.
  • Full UK driving license.
