Our client, based in Cheshire, North West, is seeking a Contract Financial Data Analyst to join their team. As a Financial Data Analyst, you can expect to work closely with the finance and accounting teams, utilising your analytical skills to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze financial data using Excel and other reporting tools
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Assist in financial modelling and forecasting
- Conduct queries and perform data validation to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives
- Support project work across a range of operational departments
- Background in finance or accounting with a high level of proficiency in Excel and data analysis
- Strong understanding of financials and reporting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large sets of data
- Experience in conducting data queries and creating financial reports
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
