Job Title: FLT Driver - counter Balance / Production Operative
Our client has become one of the largest manufacturers both within the UK and overseas and is subsequently looking to expand its Production Team
We would expect the successful labourer to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of industrial practices, be an excellent communicator and have a strong work ethic. You will be supported to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within warehouses, an industrial setting, or a manual labouring position.
5 or 4 Day working week
Monday-Thursday 6:00am- 16:15pm
Monday - Friday 6:00am-14:00pm
£11.44 per hour / £12.50 per hour - weekly pay
Full time 40 hours per week
Duties
- General warehouse duties
- Using power tools
- sanding
- Operate machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing enviroment
- measuring materials
- cleaning/Housekeeping of work areas throughout your shift
- machine operating
- Quality Inspection
- capable of heavy lifting
- Packing and Wrapping
- Prepare and package products for shipment
- Operate various warehouse equipment
- Follow safety policies and procedures
Skills: - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects - Excellent organisational and time management skills - Basic computer skills
