Customer Service Advisor

Brook Street Recruitment are looking for a Customer Service Advisor for their client based in Central Southampton - just by the train station - so excellent access.
Hours: 37.5 hours/week: Monday-Thursday (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM), Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM). One Saturday/month (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM), and occasional bank holidays as needed.
Role Overview
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll receive training to deliver top-notch service, helping customers find sustainable repayment solutions tailored to their needs. Your role directly impacts our success, customer satisfaction, and team growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication: Handle outbound/inbound calls with customers and third-party companies, plus email/text as required.
- Loan Account Management: Rehabilitate and collect payments, proactively address issues, and respond to queries.
- Tailored Support: Assist vulnerable customers with personalised solutions, with training provided as needed.
Qualifications
- Communication Skills: Ability to listen, empathise, negotiate, and in still confidence in customers.
- Team Player: Work well in a lively environment, bringing a positive, dependable attitude.

Experience in finance or a regulated environment is a plus but not required. We provide ongoing training and career development.
