Production Manager

• 25 days holiday + banks. Flexible hours. Overtime at x1.5. Sick pay.
• Working within an established, growing electronics manufacturing business that are investing into their production processes.
• Varied management position with some hands on duties, responsible for a small team of Operatives on a day to day basis.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager or Manufacturing Team Leader to join a well-established manufacturer with a solid infrastructure in place when it comes to production processes. The company employ a small, stable manufacturing team that have excellent tenure – they are experienced and low maintenance from a man management aspect. The key focus as Production Manager will be to ensure tasks are delegated daily to the team and overseeing tasks, making sure quality is correct, and final products are shipped out the door. We need someone who is happy to chip in from a hands on level and has a continuous improvement mindset.

Salary & Package: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum as an initial guide. 25 days holiday + banks. Day shift only with flexible hours.

The Production Manager job will involve:

• Overseeing manufacturing tasks on a day to day basis, ensuring the production team have sufficient workloads.
• Ensuring quality standards of completed products are to a satisfactory level.
• Supporting the shipment of final products and to customer specification.
• Implementing new processes where possible to help improve efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

This Production Manager job will suit:

• Proven management / supervisory experience within a manufacturing capacity.
• Some electronics / PCB knowledge would be ideal, but not essential for this role as some training can be provided from a product level.
• Strong communicator and motivator of staff. A good eye for detail and spotting opportunities for improvement.
• Flexible in nature as the business are an SME. Sometimes you might need to be a bit more hands on to ensure products are shipped on time.
