Role: Field Service Engineer

Location: North London

Hours: Monday to Friday with rostered weekend working on call outs.

Salary: £32,000-£38,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Field Service Engineer  to join our client’s successful team in North London.

About our client:

Our client is a market leader in the supply, installation, repair and maintenance of the world’s finest coffee machines. They are currently looking to recruit a number of Field Service Engineers to support their continued expansion in the London area with earnings up to £40,000.

On a day to day basis as a Field Service Engineer based in London you will be

• Install coffee machines at customer locations.
• Attend faults, diagnose problems and rectify coffee machines, coffee grinders, dishwashers, panini grills and ovens replacing electronic and mechanical parts as necessary.
• Undertake planned maintenance of machines

• Complete electronic records and reports on services provided.
• Explain machine faults findings and repairs / actions undertaken to customers.
• Liaise with manager / customer services re installations / fault issues.

What we would like from you:

• Driving licence - clean driving licence preferable (6 points maximum).
• Knowledge – basic understanding of electricity and ability to understand equipment drawings /

Essential experience requirements:

• Experience of maintaining electro-mechanical equipment or as an electrician.
• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• E-literate and competent in the use of PC/laptops/PDAs to acquire and manage information.

Desirable experience requirements:

• Field service experience.
• Experience in maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Business to business service experience.
