Senior EC&I Engineer (12-Month Contract, Outside IR35)
We are seeking an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer for a 12-month contract, offering £45-£50 per hour working with one of our key client in the Nuclear sector. This role requires on-site presence just one day per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead EC&I engineering tasks within a specific project.
- Assign tasks and provide technical oversight to Graduate Engineers and EC&I Designers.
- Develop control system designs and oversee design progress through procurement and fabrication stages.
- Ensure all designs meet British and European standards, client requirements, and project deadlines.
- Produce and review CE&I design concepts, technical specifications, and commissioning documentation.
- Manage subcontractors and support commissioning activities.
- Experience in AutoCAD, safety interlock design, and HVAC control systems is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Extensive EC&I design experience.
- Knowledge of control system hardware, software, and functional safety (BSEN 61508 & 61511).
