About The Client:

My client is a leading construction company specializing in commercial, student accommodation and logistics builds. They pride thmeselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Due to their continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join their team.

Role Overview:

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of construction projects. You will help ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of construction work on-site.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
  • Support the Site Manager in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work is completed to the required standards.
  • Address any issues or delays that arise during construction and report them to the Site Manager.
  • Assist in ensuring that all site activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and problem-solving attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a CSCS card, SMSTS, or equivalent are required.

A valid UK driving license.
