Payroll Analyst

Salary: Upto £40k DOE
Location: Liverpool City Centre

Full time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Hybrid working - 2/3 days per week

We are representing a leading wealth management company based in central Liverpool and we are looking to speak to pro-active, knowledgeable and experienced Payroll Analysts/Managers who are looking to work within a reputable organisation that can provide you with your next career step.

The Key Duties of the Payroll Support Analyst

  • Supporting system review of end-to-end processing of monthly payrolls liaising with 3rd party providers, participating in the payroll cycle system updates.
  • Ensuring reconciliation processes and monthly reports are continuously reviewed to enhance and are produced in accordance with required timescales.
  • Ensuring all SLAs are met, and that policies and procedures are adhered to as necessary.
  • Supporting and updating efficient work systems and internal controls within the payroll function, ensuring that processing errors are minimised, and changes are reflected accurately and promptly through system development.
  • Working with IT and People Systems on ongoing projects and process improvements.
  • Supporting on business change initiatives and the development of new processes to improve efficiency and service delivery through SuccessFactors. Maintaining and updating payroll procedures where necessary.


The Key Requirements of the Payroll Support Analyst

  • Experience of payroll in a medium to large scale organisation
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills
  • Excellent numeric and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to compare data, compile reports and reconcile concisely
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, working well under pressure to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Experience of SAP or SAP SuccessFactors
