CAD Engineer
Location: Dudley
Salary: £28,000 to £36,000

An opportunity has opened for a CAD Engineer to join an Architectural design company based in Dudley. The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience using AutoCAD 2D or 3D and have knowledge of steelwork or metalwork for residential or commercial structures such as staircases, balconies or similar.
What they’re looking for:
- Experience working as a draughtsperson, CAD Engineer, Architectural Technician or similar
- Experience using AutoCAD 2D and/or AutoCAD 3D
- Experience with steelwork, metalwork or similar
- Knowledge of staircase, balcony design or similar
- Ideally have experience of site surveying
- Full UK Driving License
CAD Engineer Responsibilities:
- Creating drawings and designs on AutoCAD for company customers
- Designing staircases, balconies and other similar steel and metal work
- Liaising with customers on their requirements
- Conducting site surveys
- Producing material lists
