We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to work for our client who operate nationwide. The position is a permanent role, working Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional weekend requirements. Over-time is paid at 1.5x and any Sunday work is paid at 2x.  

This role is based nationwide and will include going into environments such as meat factories, cold stores and occasionally staying away both in the UK and very occasionally into Europe.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure company Hygiene, Health and safety standards are always met.
• Installing company product range: Conveyer systems, X-rays, weighing equipment, etc.
• Provide training to on-site maintenance team to ensure proper usage of equipment.
• Assistance over the phone with any questions regarding maintenance of product range

The Successful Candidate

• Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical).
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Happy to travel and be flexible with working hours.
• Strong IT skills
• Background within the food industry (Preferred but not required)
