£34,000 - £36,000/annum + overtime

Overview:

Join our customer’s growing team as a Multi-Skilled Workshop Engineer, where you'll mount, commission, repair, and maintain specialized mechanical equipment onto heavy vehicles.

Bring your mechanical expertise and hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, and engineering tasks.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Knowledge of Health & Safety standards
    • Understanding of mechanical systems (ideally related to hydraulics and heavy vehicles)
    • Basic knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques
    • Hands-on experience with repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining mechanical equipment
    • IT skills
    • Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Desirable:
    • Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
    • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
    • Experience in performing pre-delivery inspections

Hours & Benefits:

Hours – 40hpw, 07:00-15:30 Monday to Friday
