Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with innovative and exciting growth plan, they are currently looking for a Buyer to be part of their team.

As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the procurement team. You will be responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of pharmaceutical products and raw materials across multiple countries, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply to manufacturing sites and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for multiple countries to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency
  • Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage and analyse procurement data to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
