Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Electrical Shift Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Electrical Shift Engineer, will be responsible for:

  • Electrical safety checks
  • PAT testing
  • Planned and call out maintenance and repairs. 
  • You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety
  • Understanding and be able to work to building statutory requirements
  • Ensuring regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme. 

To be successful for this Electrical Shift Engineer role you must have:

  • A background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar
  • Qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition. 
  • You should have a full, current, driving licence
  • IT literate for record keeping
  • Good customer service skills
  • Physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
