Transport and Distribution Administrator

Our client is a global freight forwarding company who are known for their seamless worldwide network and exceptional customer service. They are currently searching for a Transport and Distribution Administrator, who will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of freight.

You will interact with customers, arrange shipments, and ensure the delivery and clearance of freight. Your exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction of all customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards
  • Manage freight receipt and track and monitor shipments
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry
  • Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers
  • Escalation of problems to management when necessary

Beneficial skills to have:

  • Global logistics industry knowledge
  • High level of computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
  • Understanding of transportation process of all models is a plus
  • Hazardous Materials certification
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Positive and helpful attitude
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly
