Mobile Handyperson - Hull - National Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial/Industrial Manufacturing
CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to join our client's on site maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the end-clients' facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with a wide range of skills in repair, maintenance, and general building upkeep.
This is a mobile based opportunity, based in Hull covering two sites.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to join our client's on site maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the end-clients' facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with a wide range of skills in repair, maintenance, and general building upkeep.
This is a mobile based opportunity, based in Hull covering two sites.
Package:
- Competitive salary up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address any issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
- Paint, patch, and repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
- Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas and tools
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar maintenance role
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus
- Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC repairs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
- Full UK Driving licence
