Salary: $53,000 DOE + overtime
Location: Nottinghamshire
About – Maintenance Engineer
My client is a well renowned brand with an iconic portfolio of successful businesses, operating out of a state-of-the-art facility in central Derbyshire
As a Maintenance Engineer or Technician, you’ll provide site-based engineering support to minimise downtime, ensure uptime, and availability of the installed automated equipment on site
Job Description – Maintenance Engineer
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of all onsite automated equipment.
- Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs on, but not limited to; conveyors, sorters, shuttles and some robotics.
- Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults.
- Participate in the delivery, installation, commissioning and testing
Qualifications / Experience – Maintenance Engineer
- Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent experience
- A background in electrical or mechanical or electro-mechanical
- Any experience of working with automated systems would be a bonus
- Capable of understanding engineering drawings / schematics
- Able to work 4 on 4 off shifts
