Job Title: Group Used Car Buyer / Sales Management Support

Location: Group role – Cheshire / North West

Salary: Competitive basic, OTE £53,000 + company car

Hours: 9am – 6pm Monday – Friday – Plus every other Saturday 9am-1pm

Hawkfield Recruitment is recruiting for a Group Used Car Buyer that can also offer management support for a family-owned dealer group based in the Cheshire / North West area.

We are currently looking for an additional Used Car Buyer/ Management Support to work alongside the current buying team.

Responsibilities of Group Used Car Buyer:

• Procurement of Franchise stock for each site and also non franchise vehicles within a stock profile that is suitable for each individual dealerships
• Being responsible for organising payments, finance settlements and transportation of vehicles purchased for each individual site, liaising with each accounts and administration department as well as sales / Transaction manager.
• Liaising with each sales manager/transaction manager at each site to identify stock trends and source suitable vehicles and maintain optimum stock levels.
• Generate, monitor and distribute a weekly group stock report identifying current stock levels along with an age profile of the stock at each site
• Knowledge of current vehicle supply options, such as auctions both physical and online, as well as the current avenues available for stock.
• Ability to build and source relationships for new sources of stock
• Have the ability to cover for Sales managers and transaction manager across the group where required for day to day running of the departments, this may also include weekend cover if required.
