Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:

This role involves designing, developing, and managing the electrical systems across the educational establishment's campus and facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the campus’s electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, and backup systems. Additionally, you will oversee the installation of new electrical systems, upgrades, and renovations to meet the institution's evolving needs.

Electrical Design Engineer – Main Activities/Responsibilities:

- Design and develop electrical systems for campus buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems

- Collaborate with facilities management to assess, upgrade, and maintain existing electrical systems

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all electrical designs and installations

- Conduct energy efficiency assessments and propose improvements to reduce electrical consumption and costs

- Support renovation and construction projects by providing electrical engineering expertise and overseeing installations

- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for project execution

- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

Electrical Design Engineer – You:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

- Proven experience in electrical design and management, preferably within a large estate or campus environment

- Strong proficiency in electrical design software and familiarity with building electrical systems

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical design and sustainability practices

- Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in electrical infrastructure

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
