Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading, international supplier of various racking, storage and warehouse systems looking to recruit a new Software Sales Engineer to grow and develop their client base across the UK. Responsibilities

• Generating and converting qualified leads to secure orders for the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the sales of WMS, giving technical advice, quoting, preparing presentations and carrying out product demonstrations to customers
• Deal with leads generated through their Racking and Automation sales departments
• Building and nurturing customers to ensure long term relationships
• Developing monthly sales plans with accurate sales forecasts
• Taking end-to-end responsibility for projects, from lead generation to final project handover
• Attend trade shows and commercial events

Requirements 

The company are looking for candidates who have ideally come from a WMS or software sales background who can also demonstrate a strong sales track record. They may also consider professionals from a technical background within the warehousing sphere who show a consultative approach and have strong interpersonal skills. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will have a strong background within negotiations and lead generation. Ideally you will be based around the Midlands area, however the company are open to individuals further afield. This is a remote working role which will require you to visit customers across the UK.
