Our client, a major global organisation, urgently require an experienced ILS Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Strong ILS experience, gained within the defence sector
• Experience with Def-Stan standards
• Able to obtain SC Clearance

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• ILS Engineering across communication systems
• Support MoD bot proposals
• Conduct new and in-service product and system supportability analysis
• Work with project, engineering, production and other business areas to ensure that supportability and support-related design factors are fully considered during the design process
• Optimise through life support and provide system supportability assurance.
  Support customers and products
• Influence product, system and support solution design for optimum Reliability, Maintainability, Testability and Availability
• Prepare ILS and supportability documentation
• Develop and deliver tailored ILS element plans, reports and in-service support plans
• Conduct detailed Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Supportability Analysis (SA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), spares modelling and Ease of Maintenance Assessments (EMA)
• Production of Technical Manuals to various formats, i.e. AESPs, COTS manuals
• Liaise with internal project teams on a regular basis
