Supply Teacher

£155 - £240/day

Due to expansion and increased demand we are looking to employ a new dynamic, passionate, and enthusiastic ad-hoc Secondary supply teachers to help cover on day to day, short-term and long-term assignments commencing this September 2024.

Qualifications/Licences/Certifications

Essential

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science.
  • An Undergraduate Education Degree in your teaching subject or subject knowledge enhancement (SKE) course if your degree is in an area that is not directly relevant to this subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE - Scotland).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

and

  • Previous secondary school teaching experience.
  • Great English language and Mathematical skills.
  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.

Supply can be an attractive option for some teachers are you can choose your working days and hours - although we do appreciate as much availability as possible due to current demand levels. The work can be varied and stimulating, and in working with different schools you can have the chance to meet lots of people and make new connections. There are no time sheets to fill out each week, or any complicated administration on your part - you only need to do what you enjoy the most - and that's to teach!

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
