Acoustic Consultant:

My client is a UKAS-accredited company that offers bespoke services to help clients achieve compliance with key British standards and regulations. They work on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, schools, supermarkets, and sports centres across the East Midlands, East Anglia, and the South East of England.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field is viewed as an advantage but not essential.
  • Accredited by the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced in conducting sound insulation testing for a variety of different projects.
  • Must have a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with important stakeholders such as consultants, engineers, and architects while on site.
  • Conduct sound insulation and measurements and evaluate the internal acoustic performance of buildings.
  • Perform noise assessment site visits across the UK.
  • Produce top-quality technical reports for clients to address any inefficiencies.
