Salary: £40,000
Hours: 8am – 5pm with overtime
Location: Bicester Garrison, OX25 1NY
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our dedicated maintenance team at Bicester Garrison in Oxfordshire.
We provide a planned, preventative and responsive repairs service to ensure our clients’ facilities are maintained to an excellent standard. You would be responsible for undertaking plumbing and mechanical building maintenance works including reactive and PPM on the military barracks.
Works could include leak detection, unblocking toilets/sinks, replacement pipework, water temperature checks, replacement water boilers, flushing, servicing and/or replacement of thermostatic mixer valves, water sampling and other mechanical assets (belts, motors, valves etc).
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills
- Proven commercial plumbing experience
- Strong maintenance and faulting finding experience
- NVQ level 2 in Plumbing (minimum)
- G3 - Unvented Hot Water Systems certification – would be useful
- Comfortable using a handheld PDA/Mobile and compliant with paperwork
