Production Operative

Location: Outskirts of Bedford (Transport required)

Contract Type: Temporary

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4.30pm

Join our client’s dynamic team on the outskirts of Bedford, a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Temporary Production Operative to support their busy production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete ‘hot work’ with rubber joinery as required.
• Operate machinery and equipment as required to meet production targets.
• Regularly complete heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Occasionally work on knees (knee pads provided).
• Assemble, package, and label products according to company standards.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specified requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.
• Report any issues or defects to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and literacy skills.
• Basic understanding of maths preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
