Rough sleeper team leader

Belmont recruitment are looking for an experienced homeless/substance misuse worker with managerial experience to act as a team leader at a private charity within the rough sleeper team to manage several rough sleeper workers.

Key Duties and Activities:

As a Team Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team, driving improvements in service delivery through best practices and innovative models. Your role is to foster a culture focused on high-quality, personalized care, addressing service weaknesses, and creating a positive learning environment. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve Via’s strategic goals, ensuring clear communication throughout. You will manage SLAs, KPIs, and prepare reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Key responsibilities include leading service delivery in areas like Criminal Justice, maintaining a service risk register, conducting audits, and managing financial resources within budget, supporting strategic planning with the Area Director.

Person Specification:

We seek a leader with a passion for substance misuse services and experience working with vulnerable groups. You should have strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with a cooperative approach to achieving service objectives. Experience in partnering with professionals from various sectors, developing integrated pathways, and a solid understanding of Health and Social Care regulations, particularly CQC and NICE standards, are essential. Proficiency in IT and case management systems is required, alongside a strong grasp of safeguarding, risk management, and GDPR.

-The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 9-5.

-This role pays between £22-£24p/h depending on experience.
