As they continue to grow, a requirement for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager has become paramount to ensure effective leadership of the operations team and drive operational excellence.

Available to travel: Essential.
Hours: Monday - Friday - flexible hours

Overall Purpose of the role:
Responsible for the engineering side of the business.
Supervise & Support with installation, commissioning, maintenance, systems, standards, employees, H&S & legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee daily operations, ensuring all projects and services are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining long-term relationships.

Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimise project outcomes and operational efficiency.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with relevant industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or service.

Performance Monitoring: Implement KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably (but not essential) within the security systems industry or a related field.

Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

A solid understanding of compliance and health and safety regulations.

Proficient in budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
