As an SEN Home Tutor, you'll work closely with students in the comfort of their own home or residential setting, ensuring they receive personalised attention and guidance. Whether it's delivering the national curriculum or adapting lessons to meet individual requirements, your role will be essential in fostering academic growth and personal development.

The pupil in question is seeking support on a one-to-one basis, who is working significantly below their age, and requires tuition within the comfort of their own home to encourage them to re-engage with education learning opportunities, and complete their own individual targets.

The pupil requiring home tuition has a diagnosis of Autism and will need a tutor to have prior experience in supporting pupils with additional needs, who can confidently adapt learning lesson plans based on the pupils interests, current developmental stage and their targets.  

The role of a home tutor at Smart Education:

• Forge strong connections with students and their families, building trust and rapport.
• Empower students to achieve their goals, one step at a time.
• Collaborate with parents and other agencies to monitor and enhance student progress.
• Skillfully handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.

• Provide comprehensive session reports to track student progress.
• Guide students towards re-engagement with education, unlocking their full potential.

Placement Type: Long term

Pay: Competitive rate of £26.62 per hour (paid planning and preparation time)

Flexible Working Hours: 2 hours per week to 15 hours per week
