Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive project management, design & engineering services, construction support, and scaffolding, who bring expertise to the oil and gas industry.

Predominantly based onshore in Aberdeen with some offshore visits to oversee your projects, you will provide engineering leadership to the project’s teams, whilst ensuring that our client is recognised as a reliable supplier of engineering services. The role will be accountable for ensuring delivery of optimum (and where applicable, innovative) engineering solutions, that enable cost effective and efficient project delivery for your client from tender through to delivery. The role will also support the continuous improvement of the systems and processes needed to enable project delivery.

To qualify, you will possess a BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent education, proven experience in end-to-end project management in a multi-disciplinary team’s context including multiple interfaces.  You will have experience managing multidisciplinary teams through various project stages and life cycles in major contracts (Oil and Gas, Marine, Renewables & Nuclear) a strong focus on process safety, quality, and environmental leadership, in-depth knowledge of project delivery processes from acquisition to handover, excellent management and leadership skills, expertise in energy infrastructure projects, champions Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment, prioritizing safety, wellbeing, and community and environmental prosperity, maintains integrity by consistently doing the right thing and are customer-focused, striving for excellence by understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs.
