Position Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Northampton (West)

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 (DOE)+ Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Office Based.

Are you a talented Business Development Manager with experience selling Office Solutions, Furniture or Interiors? This is a fantastic Opportunity with a well-established Office Interiors Company with a premium product range.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

  • Developing and implementing strategic business plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identifying and pursue new business opportunities within the office interiors market.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborating with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of the client’s vision.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and maximize opportunities.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.


Skills and Experience of a Business Development Manager:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the office furniture sector would be desirable.
  • Experience with selling Office Solutions such as Stationary, Telecoms Printer etc.
  • Strong network of contacts within the commercial sector
  • Resilient, resourceful and presentable
  • Confident communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the wider team
  • Excellent self-motivation and drive to smash targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid UK driving license is required for client visits.
