CNC Engineer
Location: Norwich, Norfolk

Purpose:
Seeking a skilled CNC Engineer to manufacture high-quality prototypes from conceptual designs for electric motors and drive systems. This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery, and contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI) strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate 3 & 4-axis CNC machines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype specifications.
  • Perform first article inspections and ensure equipment operability.
  • Provide technical advice on design feasibility and suggest improvements.
  • Investigate and propose new technologies to advance operations.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.


Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven CNC programming and operating experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM, and knowledge of tooling and material properties.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
