Location: West Yorkshire Region
Salary: £39-42k per annum DOE + £2.5k annual bonus + company vehicle

Multitask Personnel is thrilled to partner with our award-winning client, a leader in the UK renewable energy sector, specializing in cutting-edge sustainable solutions including EV, Solar Energy, and Air Source Heat Pumps. We are on the lookout for an exceptional Smart Meter Auditor to join their dynamic team in the West Yorkshire region.

About the Role: As a Smart Meter Auditor, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring that Smart Metering systems and processes comply with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will help shape the future of smart energy, working closely with a passionate team to identify improvements and drive efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive deep into smart meter data to uncover potential issues or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with the Smart Metering team to craft and implement corrective action plans.
  • Innovate with process improvement recommendations, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems.
  • Deliver detailed audit reports and present your findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with the latest industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and take statements.
  • Lead refresher training sessions and oversee trade tests.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expertise in Multiphase and 3-Phase MOCoP Metering.
  • Gas ACS qualification in metering (CCN1 MET1 MET4 REGT1).
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in smart metering.
  • EV Knowledge/Auditing experience is a plus.
  • 18th Edition qualifications are desirable.
  • A strong understanding of smart metering systems and processes.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Stellar analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and audits.
  • Flexibility to work out of hours occasionally.
