Manufacturing Operative

Sutton Recruitment are working with a leading mineral manufacturer based in the Driffield area and are looking to recruit Manufacturing Operatives on a temp to perm basis.
The initial duties for the role will involve the milling and bagging of raw materials, palletising finished product and general housekeeping. After completion of the initial training period the role will expand to include running machinery, further training to carry out basic laboratory work including testing of products.
The position will involve a degree of lifting up to 25kg so being physically fit is essential for the role.
Working hours are a rotating shift of 6-2/2-10/10-6.
Although not essential, a counterbalance FLT Licence or a Loading Shovel Licence will be an advantage.
DUE TO THE RURAL LOCATION YOUR OWN TRANSPORT WILL BE REQUIRED - travel time from Hull is approx 25 minutes and 10 minutes from Beverley or Driffield.
The position will be offered on a temp to perm basis to the right candidates.
