Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Salesperson with an aptitude for design to join our client, a timber & materials supplier based in Central Huddersfield.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic team with clear progression opportunities and a bonus scheme in place.

Shifts & salary:

• Full time permanent position
• Monday - Friday
• 7.30am - 5pm
• £40,000 - £45,000 salary DOE, must have proven sales experience

Key responsibilities:

• Working behind a cold call team converting leads from CRM.
• Building sales ledger of accounts.
• Working alongside design team to generate roof truss plans from customer specifications.
• Completing quotes for customers.
• Acting as internal sales support when free from design commitments.
• Business development with cold and prospective clients.
• Site visits as required to meet clients.

Key requirements:

• Must have 2+ years evidenced experience in a sales position, ideally within the timber industry.
• Ideally has knowledge of timber and sheet materials.
• Ideally has joist/truss experience.
• Self motivated to drive a new department and push sales where required.
• Flexible and reactive.
