We are looking for a Manual Machinist for our client in Doncaster, DN10. The successful Candidate to be able to hit the ground running operating a variety of manual machinery working in the machine and ram repair division.
Manual Machinist Benefits:
- Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.00 - 16.30 (+ 0.5 hrs overtime) plus overtime as required.
- Salary: £15 - £17.50 per hour basic rate. Depending on experience. Overtime rate at time and half for hours worked over basic rate and weekends
- Location: Doncaster, DN10
- Annual Leave: 25 Days plus Bank Holidays
- Probationary Period: 3 Months from start date

Manual Machinist Role:
- Milling
- Turning
- Line & Horizontal boring
- Key cutting
- General machining
- Carry out specialist one off RAM and sundry repairs
- Work from drawings & samples
Manual Machinist Essential Attributes:
- Hardworking & reliable attitude
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Experience working as a Manual Machinist, with extensive knowledge of drilling, milling, or turning.
- An excellent understanding of engineering drawings and quality inspection.
- A strong eye for detail.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
Manual Machinist Experience:
- Machinist: 3 years (preferred)
