Are you a Service Engineer with experience in Condition Monitoring or some form of Electronic based monitoring equipment? Do you seek a challenging and rewarding role within a leading company specialising in advanced condition monitoring equipment?

This position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies in the power generation industry. As a key player, you'll contribute to the development and maintenance of critical infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Role Overview:

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of condition monitoring systems. You will work closely with customers to troubleshoot and optimise equipment performance, providing expert advice and support. The role demands a blend of field-based and home-based work, offering the flexibility to write reports and conduct analysis from home while also travelling predominantly within the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain condition monitoring systems across various sites.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to rotating machinery and high voltage applications.
  • Conduct performance analysis and provide detailed reports on system health.
  • Install and commission condition monitoring equipment in the field.
  • Balance fieldwork with home-based duties, including report writing and project planning.
  • Support sales and project teams with technical expertise and guidance.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role within the power generation industry or related fields.
  • Knowledge of rotating machinery, condition monitoring equipment, and high voltage applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK and Europe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
